Fluid Music is a business offering a premium DJ Service for any occasion. Owner, Carl Emery is not a stranger to music and his long time hobby is now his full time business. The home based business has been up and running since May 2007 but the Dj’ing experience is 19 years strong. Carl is one of Sarnia’s longest running continually working dj’s who continues to work on a weekly basis in local area Nightclubs and hotspots.
Fluid Music has one of southern ontario’s largest music libraries offering a staggering 100,000 song collection. We have the ability to treat every event as an individual and will always provide the most suited mix. Taking requests, using the microphone and feeling a crowd are the inherent qualities of a good Dj.
Every night must flow with songs placed in the correct order so that the night flows and makes sense. This is the concept of Fluid Music.
Fluid Music uses only top quality sound gear and energy efficient LED lighting. All music is in a digital format using Serato/Scratch live software.
Carl completed his business plan with the assistance of the Sarnia-Lambton Business Development Corporation and the Self Employment Benefit Program.

TOP 10 QUESTIONS FOR A DJ-1.What will you wear to our wedding? A professional Dj will always dress appropriately. Fluid music always dresses appropriate for every function. 2. Do you have a light show? Fluid music includes a full dance lighting kit with every package. 3. How long have you been a DJ and how many wedding have you done? Fluid music has over 18 years experience and does on an average of 20 weddings a year. 4. How do you keep your music up to date? Fluid not only has a large library of over 100,000 songs but pays dues to have the latest music sent digitally every day! 5. Do you take requests from guests? Absolutely!! Any good Dj will use requests to feel a crowd and gain an understanding of who is in front of him. 6. Do you act as the emcee and make all of the announcements? Any professional disc jockey should be more than willing to act as your Master Of Ceremonies. Fluid Music is completely comfortable with all use of the microphone and announcements. 7. When do you arrive to set up our wedding? We arrive several hours before every event to ensure sound check. 8. Do we submit a DO NOT PLAY LIST? Absolutely! Knowing what not to play is just as important as what to play. Just let us know! 9. May we meet with you in person before we sign a contract? The answer is always YES! We will always meet to go over details or to just gain confidence in who you are booking. 10. What do you require from us? Fluid music needs two things to hold your day. The first is a wedding contract filled out. The second is a deposit. |
